If you are a vegetarian and would like to do the HCG drops and protocol you may alter the diet and still be successful.  You will need to substitute milk curds (or cottage cheese) as your protein source for the meat and poultry.  Everything else on the HCG Diet Protocol should remain the same.

You must be careful to only eat a small serving of the milk curds each meal.  The caloric intake would stop your weight loss should you eat a large serving.  This is only to provide protein which is needed for this diet to be successful.  The low fat variety would work best.
